From Our Family to Yours
Recognizing people in need and giving back to the community is nothing new for Schuelke Plumbing. However, this Memorial Day, owner Gary Schuelke felt compelled to share his message about helping veterans within his community.
He issued a promise that every Memorial Day & Veteran’s Day, his business will identify and help a veteran and provide them with a free service. Since his promise – he has already taken action. The Schuelke team identified a local veteran who had a septic system that was inundated with roots and the septic was backing into his home. The Schuelke team visited the property, removed old leach lines and then replaced everything with a new leach system.
While Schuelke Plumbing plans to definitely continue this yearly act of charity – the company hopes other service based businesses will join as well. Schuelke issued a challenge to local businesses asking them to join in and support these charitable acts across the community.
“If you own a business that provides service to people in their home,” says Schuelke “I challenge and encourage you to identify a veteran and recognize the sacrifice they made. Lets create a community around our veterans to support and help them.”
Schuelke hopes that other contractors in the area will join in on these charitable acts and hopefully continue the trend of helping and supporting veterans in need. #OperationGiveBack
