Checked several things that inspector pointed out during inspection. 1. Replaced regulator and adjusted pressure. 2. Tightened water heater straps. 3. water heater backer blocks are not required per code. The strapping that is there now is sufficient. 4. Resealed kitchen venting. 5. Inspected guest bathroom toilet and is installed properly. Is not loose and does not need to be tightened. 6. Adjusted temperature on guest shower 7. Den fireplace was lit and is working properly.
Replaced customers old 50 gallon Rheem water heater with Bradford white water heater. Added expansion tank and sediment trap. Customer had previous water damage stains behind water heater and on plat form. Everything was dry
Installed customers Moen sensor kitchen faucet. Customer had previous plumber that could not figure out how to install faucet. Customer also had moisture where irrigation control valves where. They believed it was a leak. I checked meter and meter was not spinning. I Believe the moisture was coming from the backflows and irrigation control valves when they where turning on and off.
I performed an inspection and found the leak is coming from the base of the kitchen sink faucet when the deck of the Deck of the sink got wet. Applied caulking around the faucet base to water seal the connection between the faucet in the sink deck. Once the caulking Dries the leak should be prevented.
