Customer has tankless water heater and wishes to have 40 gallon water heater installed. Removed tankless and customer wanted haul it away himself. Then replaced it with a new Bradford white 40 gal water heater with new supply lines, earthquake straps, and sediment trap.
After inspection of customers tankless it appears that the issue may be due to wrong size gas line being ran to tankless. Explained to customer I will call customer support and verify. Recommended to customer to either replace tankless with new one, or a cheaper option would be to install a 40 gallon water heater.
Customer is performing complete remodeling of both of their bathroom and are wanting an estimate for moving around their plumbing
Cusuomer wished to have estimate for curb less shower. Attempted to contact customer regarding some questions but was unable to get ahold of customer
Customers wax ring for front bathroom had failed causing water damage tk baseboard behind toilet as well as flooring. After removing toilet we noticed customers toilet flange was low. We replaced the wax ring with an extra thick wax ring and flushed toilet several time and didn’t see any other leaks. Explained to customer if they continue to have issues then we will need to add a spacer to the flange to raise it To the proper level
Crawled customers house in order to inspect laundry line. During inspection I found several things that where not done properly. One being customers laundry drain 1.5” when it should be a 2” diameter drain. The other issue I saw was customers drain was not connected to laundry box and instead was dangling several inches beneath the laundry box in the wall. Recommended opening drywall and removing old laundry drain and plumbing in new laundry drain with proper 2” piping and connecting to laundry box properly. Opened drywall behind washer and replaced 1.5” ABS drains with 2” drains as well as Approximately 15’ of drains under the house for the washer as well. Upon opening dryall and exposing plumbing for washer I noticed customers water lines where connected vie shark bite adapters and also had corrosion occurring in the lines. These lines will eventually need to be replaced
Was able to snake customers laundry drain, ran several loads through washer and everything was draining properly Crawled customers house in order to inspect laundry line. Installed pressure regulator at customers water feed where it enters the house
Replaced customers angle stop on hot side of front bathroom sink. Also replaced customers tub spout due to it dripping when diverter was raised. Explained to customer that the dripping is normal and that the diverter were not built to be water tight
Customers T&P line had a steady drip. Checked pressure and pressure was at 150 psi. Recommended replacing regulator as the first step to see if this solves the issue. Explained to customer that this isn’t a guarantee to fix the issue. If issue still persists then we will re- evaluate as next course of action. Returned and replaced customer ball valve and regulator. Ran water for several minutes and no water was coming out of the T&P line. Issue appears to have been fixed. Customers galvanized where old and had severe build up inside. Highly recommended performing a repipe
